What We Do

Spring Valley Education Foundation
Dedicated to Academic Success

Our mission is to promote academic success at every level of learning throughout Spring Valley High School.

Our Goals are to:

  • Maintain the exceptional level of excellence that is synonymous with the nameSpring Valley High School.
  • Provide students and teachers with the “extras” not available through normal funding, including the best equipment, enrichment, resource materials, innovative programs and educational opportunities.
In addition to grants awards,  (made possible by annual Auction and Viking Golf Tournament), the SVEF:
1)  Solicits and administers endowed, memorial and Business & Technology Scholarships to seniors who plan to continue their education,
2) Promotes an Awards Recognition Program
  • Apple Awards given quarterly to unsung and behind the scenes Viking heros nominated by faculty, staff, students, etc., and
  • 'Friend of the Foundation" Awards made annually to recognize long-time major donors of cash, time and/or talent to the SVEF or SVHS
3)  Uses gifts to the Foundation's Annual Fund to help suport the Free After School Tutoring & Testing Program .
